Chapter Meeting: Jesus of Nazareth—Historical, Mythical or Some of Each?

We've heard many debates on “Does God exist?” The
more penetrating question striking at the heart of
Christians who seek to legislatively impose their dogma
on America is: Did Jesus exist? Based on the ever-
growing body of evidence, what are the probabilities for
Jesus's existence? Our speaker explains why an objective
consideration of these questions would lead one to
conclude the probabilities are very remote, why the Bible
is an unreliable guide and why recent archaeological
research in Nazareth is so devastating to the Jesus story.
Bring your Christian acquaintances for a final celebration of Jesus's demise!
Lee Salisbury was an evangelical Bible-school teacher and minister for 14
years. He evangelized, helped found churches and preached at Christian
conferences in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Africa. It was only after a 1986
sabbatical leave that he began an objective search of the truths and history of
Christianity. In 2001 Lee helped found the Critical Thinking Clubs of
Minnesota.
